Terms of Service

Precident is a client-intake and lead-response platform built for Australian law firms. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:

• •Use the platform in any way that breaches applicable Australian law or regulation
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• •Use the platform to send content to a client or prospective client that is false, misleading, or unlawful
• •Resell or redistribute access to the platform without our written consent

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at hello@precident.net if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

All content, design, and technology on the Precident platform is owned by or licensed to Precident Pty Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written permission. The intake sequences, automations, and content you build using Precident remain yours; we do not claim ownership over your workflows or the client conversations you manage.

Precident offers a 14-day free trial and paid monthly or annual plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, with reasonable notice provided to existing subscribers.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until that date. Month-to-month plans carry no lock-in contract.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Precident Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Precident is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Precident automates client communication; it does not provide legal advice, and your firm remains responsible for the advice given to clients and for meeting its own professional obligations.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted is your acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising under these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the state or territory in which Precident Pty Ltd is registered.
